Notes[]
The sword called Slayer could have been intended for an early version of The Sword In The Stone.
The Lute actually uses the name Frying Pan when spawned into the game. Implying that it was probably duplicated and never finished before being scrapped.
In the game files for Fable, the Bone Club only consists of a model and some text entries. This means that it can't be spawned it into the game in its current state.
The Repeaters are referred to as "Pump Action Crossbow" in the game files for Fable and appear to be stronger versions of regular crossbows, with a quicker reload time.
The Harvester is referred to as the "Legendary Pump Action Crossbow" in the game files.
Based on the name, it's possible that the Novice Bow was designed to be a bow specifically for apprentices.
The Haunted House Bow is actually called "Lady Grey's House Deeds" when it is spawned into the game.
The Haunted House Bow and the Novice Bow were not animated correctly, so using either of them causes their model to point at the player and not the enemy.
Trivia[]
In articles for Fable before its release, Managing Director Peter Molyneux claimed that the Lute was meant to be a joke weapon known as "The Singing Sword".
The description for The Harvester mentions the use of arrows, even though crossbows are designed to use bolts.

Notes[]
The character Whisper still uses the Enflame bomb as a ranged weapon in the final version of the game.
Only the Lightning bomb has a unique effect when it explodes. The rest of the bombs use the same explosion effect.
For some reason, the Slow Time bomb has a description associated with it, even though its effects were clearly never finished.
Trivia[]
Page can be seen throwing a Blastbox during the teaser trailer for Fable III.
It's possible that Blastboxes were designed for an unused quest called "Mad Bomber" and the rest of the bombs were intended for the Hero to use as a ranged weapon, which could perform spells and didn't need to use mana.

Notes[]
The Balverine Claw is actually called "Balverine's Pelt" when it is spawned into the game and uses the same description as the White Balverine Head trophy.
Trivia[]
As their name suggests, it is possible that the Hero Axe and Hero Belt were meant to be trophies that were recovered from a rival Hero. Similar to Thunder's Helmet and Whisper's Brooch.
In an interview about content that was removed from the original Fable, Peter Molyneux stated that Lobsters were meant to be part of a very early quest in the game.
The Adrenaline Potion increases the speed of how fast you can swing, along with your roll speed.
Trivia[]
The Red Potion appears to be a very early model, as though it was made back in the Project Ego era of Fable's development.
An earlier build of Fable that was close to the game's release date, reveals that Adrenaline Potions almost made the final version as loot that enemies could drop, but were cut at the last minute.

Notes[]
Despite there being various versions of the Strawberry Pie in the game files, none of them have text entries associated with them which means they spawn into the game without a name.
The Leg of Lamb is actually referred to as "Red Meat 02" in the game files.
Trivia[]
It's possible that the Edible Mushroom was either meant to be a generic food item or was a predecessor to the Blue Mushroom.

Notes[]
There are two alternative versions of the Hero Money Bag, called Hobbe's Teeth Bag and Bandit Coin Bag.
The Skeleton Bones appear to be missing a hand, which means it could've been related to the Undead Hand Trophy.
The Haunted House Diary is literally called "This is a placeholder" when it is spawned into the game.
Trivia[]
The Hobbe Teeth Bag and Hobbe Teeth could have been intended as quest items for the Hobbe Killing Contest, before it was changed to receive a Hobbe Tooth as a reward instead.
The Graveyard Map looks very similar to the maps that can be seen on the backpack of the Archaeologist.
Sister's Locket is most likely referring to the Hero of Oakvale's older sister, Theresa.

Notes[]
The evidence for the Diamond and Ice Augementations are merely icons and were never implemented into the game.
Despite their unique names, the Bandit Slayer and Hobbe Killer augmentations act exactly like the augmentations that they are based off.
Trivia[]
Based on more evidence that can be found in the game files its believed that augmentations, along with these unused ones, might have been intended to complete the Statue Master Quest.

The Tattoo Card has no text files or price associated with it and seems to be some form of early placeholder.
You can get the Chin Beard Hairstyle itself, during the Bargate Prison quest. But you can't actually acquire the Hairstyle Card for it.
