Should the 'status' be removed? They are shadows, I don't see how they can be living or dead. Fable Hero 09:34, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

While they might not be alive or dead, they could be here, banished, destroyed, away, unknown, etc. --JonTheMon 13:54, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Let's not say anything about their "status" until have concrete proof. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 14:53, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
So would it be preferable to omit the status or have it be "unknown"? --JonTheMon 15:03, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
It is unknown. They do not really have a status. They can appear in the world at will, maybe they are dead, maybe they are not but are just really powerful beings. The only way we know for sure is if Lionhead tells us the truth about them. Solar Dragon (Talk) 15:39, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
That is not dead which can eternal lie,
and in strange Aeons, even death may die. SamtheDeathclaw 02:47, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
(Woot for quoting Lovecraft at fitting moments..! :D)

Theresa Speculation[]

Ok. Any more input on ther speculation that Theresa is a member of the court into the article will result in the article being protected. ☆The Solar Dragon (Happy New Year)☆ 07:59, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

Parallels with the Necropolis[]

I remember in Fable The Lost Chapters when the Oracle talks about the Necropolis it says an avaricious man, like Reaver, made a deal with supernatural forces for all the wealth he could desire, but like Oakvale, the town was completely destroyed, only that time the man didn't get out in time.

Does anybody think these supernatural forces were the Shadow Court? I do. Batjimi 13:05, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

Difference between Fable and Fable II[]

  • In Fable II, the entrance to the Shadow Court may be found on the face of a cliff. There is no such cliff to be found when the Hero of Oakvale first meets Theresa in the beginning of Fable I.
  • This could indicate that the deal Reaver made with the Shadow Court went beyond Darkwood absorbing Oakvale, and that it changed the very topography of the area.
