you will only be able to play as a male hero in this, same as the original (which i find rather disapointing) BlackDragon666 (talk) 18:18, July 11, 2013 (UTC)

Indeed a shame. But necessary to stay true to the original, which is what they are going for. Also, they would need to redo all of the dialogue if they allowed a female Hero. --Enodoc(Talk) (User Space) 23:19, July 11, 2013 (UTC)

I definitely have to say that I'd LOVE this release idea. It'd be great to see option to be able to have a second player jump in through pressing start, just like in III. and the function of making a weapon your own by using it in certain styles of battle, and naming(Of course, keep the Augmentation system in-tact though. >.>) Also, A CONTINUOUS ARENA! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Agent Omnimystic (talkcontribs) . Rating.[]

So on the EB Games website, Australia, I just saw that the game is rated R for, "Sexual Activity related to incentives or rewards". Can anyone either confirm this or debunk it? Would it just be a filler image for the game that isn't yet rated? If this has already been talked about please excuse this, and Ill try to get up a photo soon. Thanks. --Jay Valern (talk) 10:03, December 27, 2013 (UTC)

Found this (http://www.vg247.com/2013/11/15/fable-anniversary-rated-r18-in-australia-due-to-lost-chpaters-brothel/) on why it is rated R 18+ here in Aus. If anyone in the US or Europe could give conformation on what it is rated there that would be great. Cheers. I believe it's 16 in Europe (the same as other Fable games), and would expect it to be M in the US (although officially it's still pending there). There's an article on TDH about the Australian rating as well, if you're interested: Fable Gets Reclassified as R18+ in Australia. --Enodoc(Talk) (User Space) 11:53, December 27, 2013 (UTC)
Cheers mate, I'm just suprised on how they rated it here, bit of a kick in the pants if I say so myself, but I'm getting it so I can't really complain. Thanks again. Jay Valern (talk) 10:20, January 3, 2014 (UTC)

First Edition?[]

Just put in my preorder for this today, its going cheap at my local game store for $50 NZD. Anyway, I'm curious how we'd be able to define first editions cause I really want mine to be first edition. Anyone know how? Is it like the first week or month releases or something?--Lycos Devanos Drop me a line 07:53, December 31, 2013 (UTC)

I believe it's anything that comes out of the first batch in production; how that translates to stores though, I don't know. Every copy purchased on Launch Day (and, by extension, that must mean all pre-orders) will definitely have the First Edition content though: you will get hold of the bonus content on any launch day purchases [1]. --Enodoc(Talk) (User Space) 19:42, December 31, 2013 (UTC)

Ah cool. Well only a month to wait to find out....I hate the waiting game, but at least this time it hasn't been as long as we had with Fable III, I believe we waited at least a full year after learning of it, this time its been a few months. Time for some Fable marathons, though its a bit lacking as my collection only has original Fable not TLC and is temporarily out of Fable: The Journey.--Lycos Devanos Drop me a line 22:31, December 31, 2013 (UTC)

Lead Designer interview[]

http://www.xboxachievements.com/news/news-17159-ICYMI--Fable-Anniversary-Dev-Chat--Episode-1-Recap---Ted-Timmins--Lionhead-Studios.html A fan Q&A session with Ted Timmens, lead designer on the remake, apparently there will be more DLC than just the pre-order and day one content, and you Fable II's combat system will be included, although the original cam still be used. 92.6.164.118 18:42, January 27, 2014 (UTC)

Actually, he says they are working very hard to see if they can bring new content, which was already stated by them in their Fable Anniversary thread on the forums. Also the knowledge about the combat system was also known prior, they had stated it and its even on the article under the stats part too.--Lycos Devanos Drop me a line 02:40, January 28, 2014 (UTC)

Differences in Fable and Fable II/III Inspired Controls[]

After looking at the image for the controls for Fable Anniversary it has come to my attention that it appears there are some functions missing in the original control scheme compared to the Fable II/III inspired scheme. The most notable is the fact you cannot Creep with the original control scheme. Have I completely missed something here or is something else up? --WikiaWizard (talk) 17:01, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

sru[]

The whole article has to be rewritten. It sounds more like an advertisement (all the boasting and impressions) rather than an article about the game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.191.145.233 (talk) 21:23, November 30, 2014 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

There's not really anything else to say; all the game features that differ from the original are here. Everything else is already covered on the page about Fable. --Enodoc(Talk) (User Space) 23:16, November 30, 2014 (UTC)
