Halo References[]
I know this is older than sin at this point, but whatever. I feel it's obvious that the skulls are a Halo reference, not disputing that, but I'm dubious about the rest:
- Military Suit patch - The design is not the same as the one from Halo Wars. Just a vague resemblance. I think this one's out-and-out wrong.
- 7th Demon Door - Yes, Halo and the number 7, it's known. It's likely just a coincidence here, though.
- Cartographilia - The sky is the same? It simply copies the Sanctuary map's visual style, hence the name. There's no reason to think it's a Halo reference.

- Gotta say the only one that I see other then the skulls that could possibly be a reference is the Cartographilia one, purely based on name similarities. The patch on the military suit is likely just a regular military based one, which is commonly used/modified for use in Halo's military based plotlines. As for the "7th" demon door, truth be told there is no distinct numbering order for the doors so how can we know which is actually the 7th door? As it stands, the only one 100% a reference is the skulls, the rest are speculation at best.Lycos Devanos Drop me a line 09:00, July 28, 2015 (UTC)
- I agree with Alpha Lycos here for the same reasons. I like the suggestion of the possible link between the ring of the magnifying glass and the Halo arrays. In terms of the 7th Demon Door theory I think that they mean that it was the last Demon Door to be added to the base game which is coincidentally the 7th one. --WikiaWizard (talk) 15:33, July 29, 2015 (UTC)
- I can't remember if Cartographilia is ever actually referred to as the seventh Demon Door in Fable III. I agree, this realm serving as a Halo reference would be neat, but I think it's coincidence. "Cartography" is map-making. The realm is based on the Sanctuary's map table, complete with the magnifying glass, and "cartographilia" would suggest a love of maps. I don't believe there's anything solid to link it to Halo. If it stays, it should read that it may be a nod to Halo. But I think the Military Suit patch is BS and should be cut. Thanks for the input.
