Rane is the name of an ancient Hero that would end up being cut from the lore of Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters and Fable Anniversary. He was said to have stopped a whole army with a deluge of arrows from the legendary Pump Action Crossbow that was also cut from the game, which was known as The Harvester.
