"But a man should be entitled to do what he likes, don't you think?"
— Orwin when caught cheating by the Hero

Orwin Gown was a resident of Oakvale featured in Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters. When a young Hero of Oakvale is attempting to raise money to buy a birthday present for his sister, he catches Orwin cheating on his wife, Corina, behind a cottage. He attempts to persuade the young Hero at first that he does not know the woman, before offering money in return for his silence. The Hero may choose to accept the bribe or inform Corina, who loudly confronts him and dissolves their marriage. She will pay the Hero for informing her of Orwin's infidelity. Unfortunately, both Orwin and Corina are killed during the bandit raid when Jack of Blades attacks the village.

  • Following his death, he has a grave in the Memorial Garden alongside his wife. His epitaph reads "Cheated on his wife and paid the price."

"What?! I was just... I'm... I've never even met this woman. Who is she?"
— Orwin's reaction after being discovered.
"My wife's at home with our little ones and I'm supposed to be working."
— Orwin to his mistress.
"Just don't tell my wife. I can't let her find out about this."
— Orwin, should the Hero decline his bribe.]]
