In Fable II, augmentations are mystical stones that can bind with weapons. They provide a benefit to the Hero when using the augmented weapon. Some may increase the amount of damage dealt, gold or experience gained from kills, or make the Hero more attractive. Some augments also have drawbacks, such as reduced health or damage. They can be put on any weapon that has an open augment slot. Once bound, the augmentation is permanently fixed to the weapon, however there is now an exception to this (See Notes). Here is a list of augments, their descriptions, and where they can be found or bought.

Notes[]
- Augments in Fable II, as compared to Fable have risen dramatically in number and are much more complex in the statuses they give. The addition of Knothole Island has added many more augments to the game.
- Although identical augments' effects do not stack, different augments' effects can counter one another. For example: If one augment reduces damage dealt and another increases it, the effect of the first is countered by the second (though possibly not completely, depending on the strength of the two augments used.)
- Augments can now be removed with the Augment Remover located in Knothole Island augment/weapon shop. When used, the tool will remove any augmentation on the selected weapon and return it to your inventory. This is an extremely helpful tool, as a change of heart about the chosen augments will not result in lost weapons, augments, or gold.
- The item description states that "it will not work with the augments attached to Legendary Weapons, due to the magical bond created during the forging of those weapons." This is slightly misleading; Augments that come with legendary weapons are indeed permenantly attached, however if the weapon has empty augment slots (eg: the Royal Sceptre) augments can be attached and removed normally.
- Augments found only on Knothole Island and weapons with such augments attached cannot be given as gifts to NPCs or on-line gamers.
