Leo Head was a famous alchemist whose last known whereabouts are linked to Fairfax Castle. It is said that he locked himself in the castle. He is said to have left his last and greatest potion, the Potion of Transmogrification, deep within the castle grounds. Not much else is known about him.
The potion can be found after buying Fairfax Castle and defeating the bandits who invade it. It can be used to permanently alter your Hero's appearance from male to female, or vice-versa. If you choose not to use it, the potion is lost forever, but kept as a four-star trophy. (The game will autosave after exiting the level, so create a save-point before experimenting if you're unsure).

Leo moved to Bowerstone Market and lived in The Miracle Manor, much to the joy of the people of Bowerstone, who were delighted to have such a celebrated inventor in their midst. Here, he came to great riches through the sale of his potion. He built and owned Castle Fairfax until his mysterious disappearance; only the body of a woman was found, years later, where Leo should have been. This suggests that he experimented upon himself with his new potion, before becoming trapped inside the castle.

- Leo is also Latin for lion, so his name translates as 'Lion Head' - the name of the company who created Fable.
