Jonathan is one of the more prominent garden gnomes that appears in Fable III.
Story[]
Of the fifty gnomes owned by Brian, Jonathan was considered his favourite, with the avid gnome collector comparing him to a brother. It was Jonathan who "inspired" Brian to get the gargoyle that turned all of the gnomes sentient during the "Gnomes are Great!" quest. Unfortunately, he soon joins his fellow gnomes in adopting the traits of the gargoyles, bombarding passers-by with vicious insults. He and Lionel, who is the first gnome 'retrieved' by the Hero of Brightwall in the "Gnomes are Evil!" quest, are the only gnomes that are mentioned by name in Fable III.
