Many have swung from the old, bent boughs.

Overview[]

It is located northwest of Gibbet Woods and south of Lychfield Graveyard. It consists of a road leading up to the execution platform. If the player choses to marry Lady Grey, a duel against Thunder will take place here. The entrance to Headsman's Cave is found in an area below the cliff which can only be reached during the battle against Thunder.

Points of Interest[]

Silver Key[]

There is one Silver Key in this region:

This Silver Key is located in some ripples in the water in Headsman's Hill in the small pond outside Headsman's Cave. A fishing rod is required to obtain this key. This small section of the region can only be reached when battling Thunder during the Mayor's Invitation quest, but can also be accessed after by using the demon door you used to exit that area. However, it is possible to glitch down to the area. Near the ledge where you fall off fighting Thunder, there is a chest. Stand as close to the left side of the chest as you can, then use your Guild Seal to teleport to another location. After that, recall back to Headsman's Hill. You should now be just in front of Headsman's Cave.

Demon Door[]

There is a Demon Door at the small area in front of the Headsman's Cave entrance. Once opened it offers a shortcut to Gibbet Woods.

Solution[]

Defeat Thunder during the Mayor's Invitation or Investigating the Mayor quest after accepting to marry Lady Grey.

Reward[]

Way out through Guibbet Woods.

Trivia[]

If you take the mercenary from Bowerstone South there and walk onto the platform, he'll tell you about the day he saw his brother hanging from a tree and how he swore vengeance that day.
