Fable: The Journey Downloadable Content, or Fable: The Journey DLC, is extra content released by Lionhead Studios for Fable: The Journey through Xbox Live. The content is available for purchase on Live Marketplace.
Delivery[]
At first, the extra content was only available via promotional codes which came with pre-orders of the Kinect title or with thecAmerican-published Prima Guide of the game. A temporary on-line code featured in the Gamestop website in 2012 could also be used to redeem one of the DLC’s upon buying the game.
As of 12/17/2012, all Downloadable Content were released for purchasing on the Xbox Live Marketplace, but instead of being grouped in packs like the ones obtained in the pre-ordering codes, each item must be bought and downloaded separately.

Gauntlets of Wisdom[]
- The Gauntlets of Wisdom increase the Experience gained in combat.
- Effect: Increases the amount of Experience gained in combat by 5%.
Gauntlets of Bolt[]
- The Gauntlets of Bolt grant one free upgrade to your Bolt spell.
- Effect: Increases the spell power in one stage.
Gauntlets of Flame[]
- The Gauntlets of Flame grant one free upgrade to your Fireball spell.
- Effect: Increases the spell power in one stage.
Gauntlets of Force[]
- The Gauntlets of Force grant one free upgrade to your Push spell.
- Effect: Increases the spell power in one stage.
Gauntlets of the Shard[]
- The Gauntlets of the Shard grant one free upgrade to your Shard spell.
- Effect: Increases the spell power in one stage.
Dangly Gnome[]
- Albion was once awash with aggressive porcelain gnomes that came to life. This plague was finally eradicated by the Hero of Brightwall, and Albion's gnomes have once again been restored to silence. Or have they? If you get lonely during your travels, hang this fellow in your cart and find out!
- Effect: Purely aesthetic, the Gnome will randomly emit sounds during the journey in the cart.
Fragment of the Spire[]
- The Spire looms over Albion, a focus for all the magic in the world. Adventurers have often made the dangerous voyage across the sea to capture fragments of the Spire for themselves, as such shards are rumored to possess great power. This artefact will increase the magical charge of your gauntlets, allowing you to cast more Bolt spells in combat.
- Effect: Increases the amount of will energy (mana) the player has.
Non-Fluffy Dice[]
- Need to make a big decision, but can't make your mind up? Desperately longing for some backgammon? Unsure if your sneak attack will be successful? Dice are the answer! As well as letting you resolve all manner of dilemmas through the art of cleromancy, these swinging D20s will also grant extra Experience while travelling.
- Effect: Increases the amount of Experience gained during travel by 5%.
Pet Clucking[]
- This tiny chicken always longed for a life beyond the coop, to stretch her wings and take flight across Albion. Unfortunately, chickens aren't particularly good at flying, so she's been reduced to the life of a hitchhiker. Fulfil her dream by hanging her in your cart and you'll make her so happy that she'll occasionally lay an egg that will grant you bonus Experience.
- Effect: Randomly gives small amounts of experience during travelling.
Wisp-In-A-Jar[]
- A wisp is a haunted, restless soul, cursed to remain in our world long after its mortal flesh has rotted. As such, it seems the perfect thing to hang from the side of your cart, with only fragile glass keeping it sealed away. There's literally nothing that could go wrong with that arrangement. Your reward for this bravery? Extra health.
- Effect: Increases player health by 4 stages (one full heart).
Pre-Ordering Availability[]
Before the release of the Extra Content on the Xbox Marketplace, the only way to obtaining the bonus items was through pre-ordering the game, which would come with a code to download the bonus items.
