Dead Ned's Revolver is a legendary pistol in Fable III. It is a prize for getting 75,000 points in Reaver's Wheel of Misfortune from the Understone DLC.

Ned Martin was a second-rate bandit and thief who held up a number of pawnbrokers until the day he was shot by a town guard. Ironically, he was a much better thief and bandit in death. Eventually his shooting hand fell off though.

Any figures in brackets are where the PC version has reduced requirements.

  • When the player hits an enemy with a flourish from this weapon, a posh-sounding disembodied voice will say, "I am not impressed in the slightest." This is likely Dead Ned bragging from beyond the grave.
  • If the "Hotshot" upgrade has been unlocked, shooting dead enemies with this weapon will still yield gold.

  • It was likely inspired by Ned Kelly, a famous Irish-Australian folk hero who resisted the British rule of Australian colonies until he was killed. He was known to use a revolver.
  • The revolver's name may have been inspired by the 2004 video game Red Dead Revolver by Rockstar games.
  • In Fable II, there is a grave that reads "Here lies a man once called Ned, now more properly called dead." This may be Ned Martin.
  • Despite the name, the pistol is not actually a revolver. It's a Clockwork Pistol, as it lacks a rotating cylinder like a real revolver.
