As more and more people have moved toward using mobile devices to view wiki content, some features have been developed in recent years in order to perform better across various platforms. One of these features is Portable Infoboxes, the main benefits of which are usability and presentation for all visitors to the wiki, on whatever viewing device they prefer.
The good news is that the portable infobox appearance on desktop is still completely customizable, and can be made to look identical to the current infoboxes, using CSS code. Draft templates have already been set up for these, so most of the hard work has been done in this regard.
I’d therefore like to propose that all the older infoboxes be converted to the new portable style. I…
Now that we know that Fable is officially being rebooted, I would love to hear what everyone wants to see in this game. What era do you think it will take place in? Will Theresa continue to be the link for all Fable games? What about Scythe? You think he will finally have a big role in this game? We also have Reaver who could possibly fit into things.
Quick guide to double the effects of a skill potion or I suppose any potion; use it then very quickly press up and start. This is to garuantee you will get into the menu as fast as possible as it is a split second to activate before the potion is truly discarded.
Once in the menu navigate to the potion section, the one just used should still be there so just use it again. It will then spawn the same orbs as with the first use.
I have found that doing this with too many skill potions either means the potion will not appear twice or the second use will not spawn orbs so I find it best to do this with one potion at a time then gather the skill. The exploit also relys on being quick so sometimes when the game lags the potion will be consumed re…
It is rather sad that Lionhead is considering to pull the plug; however there is still hope for us Fable fans!!! Check out the following link about the consideration of the Reboot of Fable by some original designers!!
EDIT: No longer applicable, admins feels free to remove this blog.
Hot off the press from this year's Gamescom, we've got some new images of Fable Legends for you to feast your eyes on! Legends, of course, is the upcoming game by Lionhead Studios exclusively for the Xbox One. It takes place 400 years before Fable. You'll also find a (hopefully) new to you trailer.
I haven't seen much information about the future, but I'm thinking the next game might take place in an era where there are airships among other early 20th century technical advancements. Reaver is still in control of Albion and is possibly expanding his control through force of arms or by working with other tyrants such as the Empress. Among the forced labor and harsh conditions, however, a new Hero emerges to engage a real revolution. Guided by Gabriel and discovering he/she is a descendant of Logan or any other Archon relative, the rightful heir gathers allies and does legendary deeds to defeat Reaver and his allies. Possibly learning along the way that it would be better for the people of Albion to have a voice in power once it's all d…
A teaser trailer (below) released today reveals that Fable Anniversary, the HD remake of the 2004 RPG, will be available for Windows PC. Details surrounding its release remain scarce -- keep an eye on Wikia's E3 2014 Portal for updates!
Check out the video below.
This is a way to maximise your experience and, therefore, your skills before you take on Jack of Blades for the first time in Fable Anniversary.
There are a few things that you need to collect to gain the most from this and they are as follows;
A decent melee weapon (I used the Solus Greatsword which you can buy from the shopkeeper in Bowerstone North)
As many will potions as you can get (30-40 should be enough)
As many ages of..... potions as you can get. Do NOT use them as you find them as you will only get 1,000 experience points from them if your combat multiplier is zero.
Enough experience to get your shield spell to level 2 or above.
You have to have completed the quest to release your mother from Bargate Prison.
Once you have everything y…
Decided to make a blog since there aren't a forum selection section. Is there a way we can bring it online. Anyway, I though we should talk on how the games should go in a canon order. Not that the personal methods of the players matter, I'm just saying that since the good pathways seem to be more in line, how do we do this. The first step of the agenda might as well be when in the games to get married. I haven't find anyone from the first Fable to get and stay hitched on the good walkthrough, but I can wait until someone else does. As for 2, I'd say it's best to wait until after Fairfax is dead and that Alex sounds like the preferable option. Also, considering Logan's age, it's would be wise not to get busy in the reproduction department.…

Hey! I am currently trying to acquire the Scimitar on Fable Anniversary. However my attempts have proved unsuccessful in gaining this 'Accidental Weapon'. So, is the Scimitar still available on Fable Anniversary? I am a collector when it comes to Fable, but this is the only weapon I cannot get?
This was originally posted in the Lionhead forums by OriginalFurie. I think it has some great information that would be of value to new players of Fable Anniversary.
Sometimes when I'm playing a game I like to go leave as many side quests as possible to continue playing after the main story. Other times I want to get through as much of the game as I can, or play things in the order that suits my character best. That's where this list comes in. Obviously there will be spoilers from here on out, if only from quest names.
At the time of writing you won't find this in the Fable Wiki, and I doubt it's in the strategy guide either. This is a list of the storyline quests in Fable, complete with what events, activities and side quests are unlocked e…
HI I AM JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME IF FABLE LENGENDS IS GOING TO BE PLAY ON XBOX360 AND IF FABLE ANNIVERSARY WILL BE ABLE TO USE WITHOUT THE KINNECT LATER ON.
So how do we want to do this, with Fable Anniversary approaching, it is almost as if it’s a whole new game itself. I read there was talk about a new weapon gallery, and I was just curious to know what we should do with all the new pictures. Should we just continue to put Anniversary pictures in the character’s gallery or should we update the characters that have only been seen once Thunder, Scarlet Robe…etc. and also their Appearance status, since it will be the latest game to come out with these characters should their last appearance be Fable Anniversary just like when it was for Lost chapters?
A basic question but something that should be discussed briefly.

Alright, I've been using wiki for a while but just today made a personal account.
I want to contribute to game wikis as well as making YouTube gameplays...
I don't think anyone is reading this, and if you are I'm sorry this is so utterly pointless.
Don't judge, I'm just testing this out.
(Spoiler Alert) I chose the Sacrifice (a.k.a The Needs Of The Many) choice at the last main quest (Retribution) of Fable II and every populated place loved me (which I knew they would) and when I traveled through Bloodstone, Bowerstone Market, Fairfax Gardens, Bowerstone Old Town, and Oakfield, people in those regions were coming up to me saying "We need an engagement ring to get married, you know,"(or something like that) and it was really annoying since I was already married (even if I wasn't married, I would still be annoyed). When I had to make a wish in the Spire, I had the money to get Castle Fairfax so I didn't want to choose Wealth ( people would hate me and I would walk away....or be teleported away with 300 evil and 500 …
I hate my dog it's in the way everytime and everywhere, but without it I dont find all those treasures like rusty necklases or old smelling poisons that suppost to be potions. That dog should work better, but it's broken. FIX IT!
So this blog is particularly about my favorite character in the game, Theresa the blind seer. The reason for that is well, I'm obsessed with her, not to sound cocky but I do know the Fable story indisputably by memory I can quite literally summarize all of the Fable(s) even the books. Fable is just fascinating, and speaking of fascinating Theresa is to me in my own opinion, the most fascinating character in the series, her ways of letting things and motives to her flawless complexion. Just amazing.
Just so it’s out there, my username has
changed! My name was originally “Fable1,2,3” I thought the name was
too plane and common. SO… the new name “BlueLobsterKing” is now the
username I am under.

Hello all! I have decided to work on tattoo articles and make pages about each one. I have worked pretty hard on this and I'd love for the Fable wiki community to help me correct any spelling mistakes, or make the page look better. So, I created this blog a while back because of conflict regarding the article I made for co-op since the henchman page didn't give enough information. I'm working on this again as it is likely the best place to put the information until it is done so keep an eye on it, provide whatever information you can and help me make this the best you can.
A Henchman is the second player of Fable II. They can have a range of weapons and looks. You can either chose to have them as another one of the Heroes on the save file, chose an…
I'm not aware if this is some promotion or a mistake, but Fable III is, as I write this, free to download on Xbox Live marketplace, although not on Xbox.com as far as I know, if it is a error Microsoft may shortly attempt to fix it, so if you have the hard-drive space, and haven't tried or have previously sold this game, you can currently get it for free. I would also like to note that before Fable III was announced, fable II was made free on xbox live as well.
Please comment if it isn't free in your area or if it's price has been restored.
(I hope this is where I post questions, kinda new here)
So I'm currently replaying Fable 3 after getting to play Fable tlc for the first time (both via Steam) and I've always over looked this game series I guess since fable 1, mostly with my best friend... Anyway, in Fable 3 the crawler says something along the lines of "Did the blind seer not tell you about us?". This kind of made me remember a line Theresa says back in Fable 1: "He sees you when you're sleeping, and when the day light fades..." Looking it up, it's mostly considered that she is talking about Jack, but that makes little sence... Yes, I know that people would tell stories of Jack to bad children to scare them, but it still doesn't fully match... let me explain a bit deeper h…
I finally beat Fable 3 in its entirety. All weapons with all augments possible, all costumes tattoos hairstyles, all collectibles, east hare eggs, all missions completed, married Elise with 2 kids, and all DLC's completed. :D
For the record, I've beaten the story line 6 times on the PC version with all DLC, mostly to check out the mechanics.
tl;dr: storyline was too short, game includes too much filler, combat sucks, map sucks, moral choices were better than most games but some choices were pointless, Aurora arc was the only thing that saved this game
The combat is extremely dated. For melee combat, there are only 3 moves available. A quick attack, a charged flourish attack, and a block. The lack of a parry slows down melee comb…

I have some texture mods I have been working on over the past week that had made and was wondering if anyone else does the same type of work. Here are some examples.
I wonder if Peter Molyneux can pull another rabbit out of his sleeve. Seems that even he needs help from Kickstarter to get funds to produce a new game.Garry Damrau(talk) 20:18, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
Connie Remswood, one of Albion's greatest heros, has just finished her last quest, and is ready to hang up her sword, when an unlikely face from her past comes to call. A fellow hero named Reaver, whom she has had many negitive run-ins with, returns once again to cause trouble. But when things take a turn for the worst and Connie and her loyal wolf-dog, Lance are forced out of their home by a fire, Connie is forced to spend more time thinking about Reaver, and her anger turns to something she can't quite explain. As her feelings for Reaver deepen, a mysterious stranger comes to call, and Connie stumbles upon the truth, in an unexpected twist that completly changes the way she has always seen the dashing young pirate. But some things are be…
If you have been hesitant to check out Fable: The Journey,
perhaps the following five facts will help persuade you, that the
game is decent.
- 1 1.) Cohesion with Previous Games
- 2 2.) The Game is Humorous
- 3 3.) The Game Takes Advantage of Kinect's Flaws
- 4 4.) Intensity
- 5 5.) The Game Has Drawbacks
The game does it's best to feel like a legitimate sequel to
Fable III, most of this is done by learning more of the story of
Theresa, whom serves as a secondary main character. We will learn
more about the world of Albion.
Many of the quips and quirks that made other Fable games enjoyable remain in this version. The voice acting in this game is one of the high points. Both the actors who play Theresa and Gabriel do a tremendous job of injecting humor into thei…
Today is the release date for Fable: The Journey. This Kinect-only game is being heavily criticized by critics. Here are a few snippets from publications on both the Internet and print. Make sure to voice your opinions on the matter below.
- 1 Loved It
- 2 Thought It Was Okay
- 3 Hated It
- 4 Wikian Reviews
It's not demo material or a novelty release, but an uncompromising adventure game that weaves an engrossing story while utilizing the full potential of motion control. It doesn't always work flawlessly, but the sheer ambition alone makes it a must-own for Fable and Kinect fans alike.

I wrote this somewhere once and it sounded smart, so here it is again (for those who want to know what Fable is, specifically):
The Fable series immerses you into a land of unparalleled wonderment. Actually, Fable and its predecessors are RPG/Fantasy games in which the Hero, whether it be the Hero of Oakvale, the Hero of Bowerstone, the Hero of Brightwall, or the upcoming Gabriel, goes through a series of quests to ultimately save a land called Albion. One of Fable's signature attributes is its morality system. You could either be a virtuous hero or a dishonourable villain. Either way, you must face the consequences. The original Fable takes place in a setting somewhat similar to that of The Lord of the Rings. The second takes place in a pr…
Whew.. I think that if I make a new character then my dog will be okay.. but guess what.. I've tried make new character for 3 times but my dog still limping..
- In my first-play, my dog start limping after the Aurora cave quest
- In my second-play, my dog start limp at the beggining of the game! after I go to the library to get the music box, my dog get limp again..
- In my third-play, my dog start limp at near end of the game.. before the attack from The Crawler begins..
I really want Lionhead fix this bug.. let's say fix it in Fable IV..
I've finished Fable III for the first time, and this is what I think :
- I played it for maybe a total of 10 hours or less.. It's kinda a short play for me.. Because previous game (other game) I played, it took about total of 4 days or more.. But it's an exciting game I should say..
- My dog got limp of all a sudden.. And it can't be solve because it got limp after the Shadelight Dungeon.. So I see the dog limping all of the storyline untill I've finished playing it and it still got limp.. Kinda weird to see him like that because I have a dog and it'll be very odd if I see my dog limping all the way..
Well, I thinking of playing it again and I reaally hope that the dog won't got limp again.. Also I want to try to make a different character from my …
This is mainly for people with kinects but every body else is welcome to it. I have played and beat EVERY falble game exept journey, but i dont have a kinect and fable should stay the way it was with non-motion controls. I might get scorched by saying this but journey is bull shit! Fable used to be about an open world role play kind of game but kinect has ruined it if im wrong please tell me cause fable was at its peak in fable 3 but like the stock crash in '29 it plumeted. BAD!!
I recently discovered the damage tables for the Fable III Spell Gauntlets in the BradyGames guide. I've been working on analysing the information and will add it to the appropriate articles once it's complete.
If you'd like to see my progress, click here to view the Google Doc. Don't worry, you don't have to sign up/in to view the spreadsheet.
Oh, my copy of the guide is kind of... blurry if you get
my meaning. If anyone else has the guide can you please review the
stats numbers to make sure I read them correctly?
I was able to buy the E-Guide and corrected the few numbers that were wrong. I've also finished all of the formulas but for whatever reason the pages keep breaking in a weird way. Anyway, have a look and let me know what you t…
Hi, Over the past couple of months we have been developing and testing a related videos module on some wikis like Harry Potter, Hunger Games and Halo. During these tests we have been tracking the number of video plays as well as collecting community feedback. We are now ready to expand the rollout to the rest of the site, and we are starting with wikis that there are the most videos for - which includes your wiki!
The videos we have are fully licensed from video partners we have developed relationships with. They include videos such as trailers, famous movie/TV clips, walkthroughs and behind the scenes interviews. We currently have video content from Screenplay and are working to create partnerships with other vendors, including Hulu, soon.…
Well wikia world, here it is:
In the upcoming fable game (4) slated for a 2013 release, I would love to see the following things. First, I loved ruling a kingdom in fable 3, but I really thought it was lacking. Your should be able to do more things like be able to fix your mistakes. I would also love to see the Huge amount of clothing and weapons from fable 2 return. We all know its coming so it may as well happen, Theresa has always deep down bin the true bad person, As she for atleast 2 games has been manipulating the hero into things that they wouldnt really do, such as letting the spire be built (For gods sake, let a crazy person create a super weapon that can wipe out the universe), so she should be the final enemy. In Fable you had t…
I have several profiles on my Xbox 360 but only two that I use. One of them used to be my "offline profile" and was the main one I used for single player games. The other was just for Xbox LIVE. However, over time I gradually drifted over to the point now where I just use my Xbox LIVE profile for everything.
I had three Hero Saves for my "old" profile, the first was the very first Hero I started as for Fable III, a pure Hero. The second was a corrupt Hero and was my second ever Hero for the game. The third was one that I had just started playing as and had left. For the first Hero I had quite a few weapons from the Sanctuary Chest, Golden Door/s etc. but not the Morality View one. The second I didn't have much, the Sanctuary weapon was the …
I would like to see if there is any interest in the Fable Wiki obtaining a fanon sub-wiki for fan-fiction, fan-art and other fan-created content based on the Fable universe. If there is, I will put in for adoption of Fable Fanon, a Wikia wiki that has been administered by Fable Wiki admins in the past. The process may also be improved if anyone who is interested heads over there to start creating content beforehand, so the Wikia staff can see that the wiki is somewhat active.
Please vote in the Community Poll below, and leave your comments at the bottom.
I would like to make an observation re: this achievement. I suggest that since one can find the 4 relic weapons in 2 places, the 6 rare weapons in 3 places, 2 weapons upon finishing a particular quest, 14 uncommon weapons in 7 other locations, and 12 weapons in 3 weapon shops, that it is theoretically possible (although immensely unlikely) that it could be done with only 2 playthroughs. It would not take Spock to figure the possibility but it definately aint for the 6th grade math problems. Who wants to take a stab at it? I forgot most of what I learned about odds and probability but would one of you like to try to solve this?
I am currently playing on a 2 year old X-box 360 Arcade console (light grey) with an 8 Meg USB flash drive. I played Fable II for about a year and then Fable III another year. In the past several months my system has been freezing up or crashing you might call it with increased regularity. I assume it is due to disk read errors and not overheating. Some people tell me if I have it cleaned it will cure the problem and others say it is because I use it to play DVDs that the disk drive is "burned out". My question is this, Should I A.Have it professionally cleaned B.Upgrade to a new (black) version or C. Wait for the X-box 720 ? I respectfully ask for any comments and/or recommendations.
