Blackridge is a town featured in Fable: The Balverine Order.

Background[]

The town is located near Underwood, a forest that used to be infested with balverines before mercenaries drove them out. However, the inhabitants of the town still remember the balverines that once harassed them, and are subsequently paranoid about any potential attacks from the creatures. This fear also extends to simple dogs, with many of Blackridge's inhabitants believing that they were somehow in league with the balverines. As a result, they slaughtered their pets and try to kill any others that they see.

Fable: The Balverine Order[]

During Fable: The Balverine Order, Thomas Kirkman and James Skelton arrive in Blackridge seeking balverines. Following up on a claim that a local girl, Hannah Mullins, was taken by the creatures, the duo ask her mother, Mrs. Mullins, for details. Mrs. Mullins reveals that her husband, Robert Mullins, went after his daughter and was reportedly killed, and that Hannah's boyfriend, Samuel, went after them both. Thomas and James then head out into the woods, discovering that the three ran away from the abuse Mrs. Mullins with the intent to set up shop elsewhere.
