'Crossbow' Bessie is a woman who is waiting to enter the Crucible, in Fable II, along with Zachary, Meatbane and Gorgoron, but makes up pathetic excuses for not going in; for example, "My crossbow has got a cold." She claims to be well respected in Bloodstone, complaining about the "two morons outside" giving her grief about renown. She seems to have an issue with Reaver, mentioning he cast her aside.
