When you go into Bowerstone Quay, in the northern section is an old man, sitting on a bench, trying to get your attention. He says he has a lovely daughter, who loves strong handsome men, but there is a price for her ― you must change your looks.
To start things off, the old man gives you the Pudding Basin style card and tells you to find a barber to make the changes. Should you agree, he then gives you the Mutton Chop Beard style card. After you pay another visit to the barber, he then asks you to grow a Trader Style moustache and gives you the style card. If you get the moustache and then go back to him, you find out that he was joking with you all along and doesn't have a daughter. He just likes making people like you look stupid. He then gives you the Fire Monkey tattoo, and you’ll also earn one hundred experience points. If you accept with the quest with any or all of these styles already applied, he will instead give the Warrior Stripe, Long Beard, and Sheriff Moustache style cards. This does not change the final reward.
An alternative ending can be activated after being given the Moustache Style Card if you change your hair and beard, then repeatedly activate his conversation, he will come clean that he doesn't have a daughter, and give you a card for the Tramp Beard style instead of the tattoo. You will still get the 100 experience and 100 renown, and the quest will be marked as completed.
