A Tale of Mischief is one of the three main narratives that were released and available for players during the time Fable Legends beta was operational.
With the beta access being terminated on 13th April 2016 after the game's cancelation, the narrative and its quests aren't accessible or playable anymore.
Overview[]
The storyline is composed by three known quests that were already released by the time Fable Legends beta was terminated.
When answering a call from the village of Rhubarb, the heroes discover that the vegetables have been magically swollen and the villagers turned into chickens. They eventually lift such enchantment and drive the author, a puck named Snapbranch away. An upset Snapbranch would then proceed to terrorize the countryside, ultimately shrinking a whole town and its inhabitants with his magic flutes. The heroes, aided by Snapbranch's brother, Fastbuckle, are once again able to lift the spell and free the town, but Snapbranch once again escapes. Eventually, the heroes and Fastbuckle are able to trick Snapbranch into participating in a theatre play where he is ultimately captured and imprisoned inside of a magical egg.
